A 25-year-old man, who was found dead inside the belly of a huge python
The life less body of a man, Akbar Binramil, has been cut out of a python after he was swallowed whole by the huge 23-foot snake in Indonesia.Tamil who is 25-year-old father of two was presumed missing on Sunday, march 26, when he set uff to harvest palm oil in some remote village on an island.
According to the Washington post, his relatives and friends got even more concerned when they found a giant python.
They descended on the serpent and cut its swollen belly open using an 18-inch long hunting knife, only to fine Akbar lifeless inside the huge snake.
Meanwhile the man was trying to harvest palm oil so he could provide for Hus wife, Muna and his two children.
Junaedi, the village's secretary, said the discovery of the deceased consumed by a Python has left the locals in the area in fear for their lives especially since this is the time of year when they work around the snakes terrain. He said "these days we are supposed to harvest palm oil, but most of the farmers, especially those farms are near Akbar's, are still shocked, afraid that more Pythons are still out there."
Junaedi said the last time a reticulated python as large as the one that attacked the victim was seen in the area was back in the 1990s.
An agriculture lecturer at hasanuddin university in makassar simply identified as, Rahmansyah, believes the attack unfolded this week due to the ongoing deforestation taking place in the area as a result of the palm oil industry.
Rahmansyah said:"because the habitat is destroyed, the snake's natural food sources are also affected, thus the snake went out to the palm oil plantation to seek prey."
